The African Australian Legal Network (AALN) is Australia’s first legal network convened by, and supporting the advancement of, the African Australian community in the law. First convened in July 2018, and now an incorporated association, the AALN is focused on the skills development, recruitment and retention of people of African descent in the Australian legal community.

Open to African Australian law students and early-career lawyers across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, this competition offers practical courtroom experience, coaching from practising barristers, and judging by Federal Court Judges.
